It is hard to believe that our race could be in this position again. Last year, we were forced to postpone the race due to a 1000 year flood and its devastating impact on large portions of South Carolina. This year, the entire east coast has been impacted from Hurricane Matthew. For the safety of runners, the 6th Annual Historic Georgetown Bridge2Bridge Run has been postponed to October 29th.
Per our registration waiver, we are unable to refund registration fees. However, the following options are available:

You may join us on October 29, 2016; or

You may run as a Virtual Race Participant (runner will pay S/H fee of $7.50 by October 20th through the store on our website - click here; runner will complete event by November 1, 2016; runner will complete online Virtual Race form by November 1, 2016 (form will be added to our website very soon); race shirt and medal will be delivered 4-6 weeks after the event); or

You may transfer your bib to another runner for the October 29th event; or

You may receive a 50% discount for the 2017 race on October 14, 2017 (tentative date); or

If 1-4 do not work for you, you may receive acknowledgement of a charitable donation from Friendship Place in the amount of your registration fees paid (not including any fees paid to ItsYourRace).
We will assume that you are participating in your registered event on October 29, 2016 unless we hear from you otherwise. If you would like to choose options 2, 3, 4, or 5 please reply to this email by 5pm on October 20, 2016.
